The New Zealand Masters Swimming (NZMS) Committee provides organisational leadership and ensures the smooth operation of the national body. It oversees direction, planning and key initiatives that support adult swimming across the country.
Elected representatives advocate for the interests of clubs and individual members, helping maintain a supportive environment for swimmers of all abilities. Their role includes encouraging participation, strengthening community connections and ensuring that NZMS continues to promote swimming for fitness, wellbeing and competition.
The Committee manages governance responsibilities, financial oversight, strategic planning and national programme delivery. This includes membership development, communication activities and ensuring that events and initiatives are well‑coordinated and accessible.
