NZMS Governance provides the leadership, structure, and accountability needed to support Masters Swimming throughout New Zealand. It helps ensure the organisation operates in accordance with its Constitution, policies, strategic priorities, and legal obligations. As a result, NZMS can continue to promote the long-term sustainability of Masters Swimming across Aotearoa.
The NZMS Committee works on behalf of members and affiliated clubs to guide the organisation’s direction. In addition, the Committee oversees financial management, maintains key policies, and supports opportunities for swimmers of all abilities. Good governance helps ensure decisions remain transparent, consistent, and aligned with the interests of both current and future members.
